A Piscean Pause ~ 28 Jan 2025

On 7 February, Saturn exactly aligns with the centaur Nessus in Pisces. Finally! This aspect has been in play for what feels like forever. Saturn and Nessus have engaged in what could be deemed an in-orb conjunction for the past eleven months. Now the aspect approaches maximum influence and soon diminishes. For now and a tad longer, all things Saturn and Nessus currently play out in Piscean spades, and soon the conjunction wanes as does its influence, especially given consciously applied efforts... and a Piscean pause for realizations that follow.

Given Saturn, the suggestion accompanying this aspect is to clarify all activities and engagement in play in your life. Examine your previous causal participation in all things that require what appears to be immediate resolution - this especially applies to matters lingering since February of last year.

The story of the ferryman Nessus is one of those situations where one might wonder, “What good can come from this tale?” Consider that over the years, Pluto and his mythology appropriately became the source material for tales of transformation and ultimate upliftment. Similarly, we work our way through the difficult mythic stories of Eris and Sedna, seeking resolutions that support evolution and clarity of consciousness.

That point considered, the upshot of Saturn conjunct Nessus is the end of bad blood between persons, factions and philosophies. With the application of some Saturnian doctrines, long felt sticking points shift and shift in manners that could be considered miraculous. Or perhaps in Piscean persuasion, some things simply melt, or like mothballs dissipating, sublimate. Sublimate in the physical sense is not the same as the context of the psychological realm.

On the most mundane level if a person has a blood panel completed by an allopathic medical facility, the presence or absence of vital supporting substances can be determined. The level of vitamins and minerals becomes clear and if a needed nutrient is low, it can be boosted through supplementation. Fortifying ones well-being becomes a metaphorical remedy for this transit. Bolster yourself and your well-being and observe as the world and all those in it respond more favorably to your presence. Physical healing and the improved quality of blood surging through ones physical being may do wonders for enduring life’s challenges, supporting stamina and mental clarity. Is this a Transit demand? Not at all; simply a suggestion that can be taken on a physical level that supports all other less tangible realms of existence.

There are several subtle themes that can be derived from Saturn to Nessus. These come in the form of cautions, such that prior to engaging in situations or with others, one can possess a clearer perception of how scenarios may shake out and as such, prevent bad blood.

First and consistent with the nature of Sedna, acknowledge your part in how you now stand where you do. Accept that the conditions in your life that directly result from your decisions and engagement with others and the subsequent situations. Should you find yourself in a circumstance that requires improvement, get on with correcting the conditions that conjure rectification. The willingness to fix all pending circumstances enables one to absolve oneself of self-imposed blame.

Listen carefully to how others present themselves. When someone indicates who they are with a level of clever banter that sounds conditional or as if the piper must be paid later, work to accurately perceive all possible down the road effects. This way, the appropriateness of engagement can more accurately be ascertained and the end result creating a more level field of play. In response to unsatisfactory situations, instead of “an eye for an eye” mode of engagement, consider options that do not perpetuate enduring strife.

With the diminishment of this transit, clarify in advance your reasons for aligning purposes with another individual and declare all expectations that can be possibly imagined in advance. Declare your sense of fairness and need for shared involvement and responsibility. Examine the concept of quid pro quo and work it to fit in with your view of karma. Note that all unstated agendas and projections are likely to conjure hurt feelings down the road. Suck it up and get it said in advance.

Given that Saturn has dominion over time as defined by humans, apply some creative time warping to all circumstances and situations that cause any reaction of bad blood. Clearly assess all needs and desires that were, or could have been applied to any engagement that include others. Bring those out of the shadowy background and into full conscious reality. When fully realized, insert the consciousness created by such clarifications into a time that precedes any situation that spun into a circumstance that could be deemed “complicated.” Assign the assumption that anything not articulated could not possibly have been part of the conscious or assumption profile of others with whom you engaged who failed to uphold your expectations.

During the Saturn-Nessus grand finale, assess if any skewed circumstances with other persons, places or things that failed to meet your expectation require healing. Solutions are simultaneously simple and complicated. Is it best to let sleeping dogs lie, or is it time to save the cat from the circling raptor? The time warp method above might actually sublimate in the Piscean healing way without notice.

Finally, bear in mind the Universal truth that on some level of pre-incarnation consciousness, every embodied soul agreed to take on this planet and its challenges in ways that cause their soul to achieve some evolutionary gain. Perhaps to Saturn and Nessus in Pisces, everyone is a pilgrim making progress.
